We understand that choosing support for yourself or someone close to you can feel like a big step. Our role is to help make that process clearer, easier and more reassuring.

How the Hub Care Support works locally

Finding the right support should feel personal, not rushed.

That’s why we take the time speak with every single person looking for support.

We want to understand your individual circumstances and needs so we can make the best, most informed suggestions for your support.

Chat with us

First, you tell your local Hub team what kind of support you are looking for. This might include companionship, help at home, personal care, respite support, dementia support or live-in care.

Review PA profiles

We send you the profiles of every Personal Support Assistant that potentially meets your wants and needs. Then it's over to you to take the time to fully review their profiles.

Arrange a chat

Once you've made your selections, invite the Personal Support Assistant(s) to meet with you so you can be sure that they are the right fit, ask them for any more information and discuss the finer details of your support.

Why we only introduce QCAS-approved PAs

Choosing a Personal Assistant is a personal decision, so reassurance matters.

Hub Care Support only introduces people to Personal Assistants who have been approved through QCAS, the Quality Care Approval Scheme. QCAS checks are designed to give people more confidence when choosing support at home.

Checks include identity, enhanced conviction free DBS, references, training and insurance.

Roger

Owner

Working within the NHS for over 20 years, mainly front line as a paramedic but also primary care in GP surgeries and more recently as a medic for the East Anglia Hub windfarm, Roger decided he wanted a change.

Knowing that home support could benefit from modernisation and a different approach, he joined Hub Care Support and opened up a branch in East Anglia in 2022.

Joyce

Owner

With many years of experience working in care homes, for agencies and independently in the local area, Joyce has always had a passion for the care industry and understands the ups and downs associated with it.

Feeling it was time to make a change, opening a branch of Hub Care Support with her husband has allowed her to provide support to people in the community who want to live a more independent life.

Robin

Manager

After working within the care industry for several years, both with agencies and care homes, Robin progressed to a team leader. Robin then moved to become a Personal Assistant with Hub Care Support when his parents Roger and Joyce opened up the East Anglia Coast branch in 2022.

We cannot thank Estelle enough. She offered kindness and thoughtfulness to assist my elderly parents during the most difficult time in their lives. She gave fantastic support during my wedding day, to help mum when she needed it which was amazing. The hub offered flexibility which suited the needs of my family. I would recommend them if you have any support needs big or small.

Hub Care Support have given us a brilliant service in finding a PA for our poorly relative. Early days, but it has been a good and stress free experience. Would recommend to any one looking for home care.

Can’t recommend enough. They were available at short notice to provide a sleep in carer to accommodate a family member coming out of hospital. Roger maintained excellent communication throughout the care period, constantly touching base to check everything was okay and whether we needed any further support. Will definitely use again in the future, if needed. Thanks again.
